Five new teams join the partnership program: G2 Esports in Americas, Weibo Gaming and XLG in China, and GAM Esports and Crazy Racoons in Pacific. GAM Esports has never competed in Tier 1 Valorant but is one of Vietnam's biggest esports organizations. Crazy Racoons returns to Valorant after disbanding three years ago.
Major organizations were omitted from the partnership program, including Cloud9, KOI, and VCT Pacific champions Global Esports. Regions not represented by partner teams include LATAM North, MENA, South Asia, and Oceania.
Riot will provide selected teams with additional financial support while creating opportunities for other organizations to compete through a new open-qualifier system. Leo Faria stated that Riot shared over $86 million in digital goods revenue with VCT teams last year, and more teams will have the opportunity to share in that success in 2027.
