Halo Studios announced the Halo Championship Series will return in December with the HCS Invitational at Halo Fest in Seattle. The tournament features 8 invited teams competing for a $150,000 prize pool.

All 8 invitees have accepted their invitations, with the full roster set to be revealed early next week. Roster lock takes place on October 26. The tournament runs from December 12 to 13.

The HCS was sunset in 2025 after Halo Infinite was pulled from the circuit following the Halo World Championship. The last HCS-branded event took place in October 2025 in Seattle, where Shopify Rebellion won the championship.

Halo Fest will also host an open competition featuring Halo Infinite, Halo 5, Halo 3, Halo 2, and Halo: Combat Evolved with an additional $50,000 prize pool. Every match in group play and bracket stage will be broadcasted for fans at the venue and at home.
