A fan shared footage of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 running on NVIDIA's DLSS 5 technology. User WolfOfDarknesss posted the clip on X on October 19, calling the graphics straight-up real.

The source of the footage is unclear. No one from Activision, Infinity Ward or NVIDIA confirmed whether the clip is official, an NVIDIA demo or a mod.

Modern Warfare 4 releases on Steam on October 22 for $69.99. Infinity Ward and Beenox developed the game, with Activision publishing. The clip appears to show the PC version, though specific settings, resolution and GPU details were not shared.

Steam rates the game Very Positive from 5,073 reviews. Of the 20 most helpful reviews sampled, 19 were positive and one was negative. The top review praises the campaign, calling it easily the best in years and probably one of the best in the franchise.

The game includes a reinvented DMZ mode, an action-extraction shooter where players roam a battlefield full of missions, loot and AI soldiers. Players must exfil successfully with valuables or lose all progress. The 2026 version is a massive leap from the 2022 DMZ, with purposefully built gameplay elements, a massive progression system and skill trees.
