Xbox's next generation console codenamed Project Helix may cost between $1,200 and $1,800 according to internal estimates from the company. The pricing information comes from a Fortune Magazine report and profile of Xbox CEO Asha Sharma.

The estimated price range represents what Xbox expects consumers to pay for the console, not just manufacturing costs. Project Helix is reportedly planned to ship as two devices.

The handheld version of Helix is expected to arrive in 2027, with the full console release scheduled for holiday 2028. The pricing would make it significantly more expensive than previous Xbox console launches.
