Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes stop posting on YouTube
The British YouTubers who rose to fame in the mid-to-late 2010s have stopped uploading content, leaving fans without an explanation.
Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes have stopped posting on YouTube. The British creators were major figures on the platform during the mid-to-late 2010s.
Sugg posted lifestyle content under the username Zoella, including makeup tutorials, outfit inspiration, and vlogs with friends. Deyes made videos playing games with other YouTubers and trying internet trends.
The pair were known as poster children for early 2010s YouTube content creation. They made videos with friends and cameras in hand to bring fans along through their lives.
Their relationship was initially kept private until fellow British YouTuber Jim Chapman accidentally revealed it in a vlog. He showed Sugg's laptop screensaver which featured a photo that exposed the relationship.
Fans are unhappy about the lack of uploads and want an explanation for why the creators stopped posting.
