MrBeast requires former employees not to post or interact with content about him on social media
Former employees of Beast Industries receive letters prohibiting them from posting, commenting or liking content related to MrBeast, his company or current employees on social media.
Former employees of MrBeast's company Beast Industries receive letters outlining post-employment obligations that prohibit them from posting, commenting or interacting with content on social media related to Jimmy Donaldson, Beast Industries or any current employees, according to Business Insider.
The letters also require former employees not to disclose unpublished internal information and not to make false statements or statements that damage the company's reputation.
Three employment lawyers said the document contains some uncommon provisions, particularly the requirements related to social media activity. California employment lawyer V. James DeSimone said the requirement that someone cannot comment on social media after leaving employment is unusual.
DeSimone noted the letter does not mention any severance pay or additional benefits in exchange for employees complying with these requirements. A Beast Industries representative provided comment on the matter.
