Fans are sharing the song on social media, with many people visiting the official YouTube music video from TikTok. People who discovered the band through later hits like Pretender or Subtitle are encountering the older song and expressing surprise at its style.

Koi no Mae Narae was Official Hige Dandism's first music video. The video features vocalist Satoshi Fujihara singing in close-up throughout the entire first verse, looking directly at the camera.

The song's viral moment comes over 10 years after its original release, introducing the band's early work to new audiences who may only know their more recent stadium-filling performances.
