MrBeast requires former employees not to post or interact with content about him on social media
Former employees of MrBeast's company receive letters prohibiting them from posting, commenting or engaging with content related to the YouTuber on social media.
Former employees of MrBeast's company Beast Industries receive letters outlining post-employment obligations that include restrictions on social media activity. The letters require them not to post, comment or interact with content related to Jimmy Donaldson, Beast Industries or any employees on social media.
The letters also require former employees not to disclose unreleased internal information and not to make false statements or comments that damage the company's reputation.
Three employment lawyers told Business Insider the document contains some uncommon provisions, particularly those related to social media activity. California lawyer V. James DeSimone said prohibiting someone from commenting on social media after leaving employment is an unusual requirement.
DeSimone noted the letter does not mention any severance pay or additional benefits in exchange for employees complying with these requirements. A representative for Beast Industries provided comment to Business Insider.
