Hideo Kojima displayed concept designs for PHYSINT at a Kojima Productions exhibition in Tokyo that closely resemble iconic Metal Gear machines. Photos from the studio's 10th anniversary exhibition show two large mechanical creations that look familiar to Metal Gear fans.

The first design resembles Metal Gear REX with a broad, heavily armored silhouette and large upper section supported by two powerful legs. The second machine looks similar to the Gekko units from Metal Gear Solid 4, featuring a compact body.

The images were shared on ResetEra by a visitor to the exhibition at Azabudai Hills Gallery in Tokyo's Minato ward. The designs appear alongside other material connected to PHYSINT, Kojima's upcoming action-espionage game.

Kojima has previously stated that PHYSINT is not supposed to be another Metal Gear game. The exhibition also showcases a statue displaying multiple bust variants of Bill Skarsgård, who plays PHYSINT's lead character. Xbox Game Studios is publishing the game after Sony canceled the project.
