Croc 2 remaster announced for Nintendo Switch 2
The remaster of the 1999 PS1 platformer will release in spring 2027 with both digital and physical versions.
A remaster of Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will release in spring 2027, between late March and the end of May, according to the announcement.
The remaster will be available both digitally on the Nintendo eShop and in physical form. A standard version of Croc 2 is scheduled to release on October 29 for other platforms including the original Nintendo Switch, but the Switch 2 version will not be ready for that initial launch.
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, a remaster of the 1997 original, also received a Switch 2 announcement. That game previously released on multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch in 2025. While it is playable on Switch 2, there is currently no native version.
Both games are remasters of 3D platformers originally developed by Argonaut Software for PS1 in the late 1990s.
