Rockstar could bring back 5 classic Vice City locations in GTA 6
Ocean Drive and other iconic spots from the 2002 game may return as Easter eggs in the upcoming title set in a different universe.
Rockstar could include classic Vice City locations as Easter eggs in GTA 6 despite the games existing in separate universes. The original Vice City belongs to the 3D Universe covering games from 2001 to 2006, while GTA 6 is part of the HD Universe that includes titles from 2008 to present.
Ocean Drive has been all but confirmed to return in GTA 6. The main beachfront strip in the 2002 game used the same name as its real-world South Beach Miami equivalent and featured art deco and neon-lit architecture.
The original Vice City released in 2002 and immersed players in Rockstar's version of 1980s Miami. The game holds up after more than two decades as a testament to its design.
GTA 6 is set to release in 2026, giving fans who played the original Vice City a chance to see updated versions of Tommy Vercetti's stomping grounds with modern graphics.
