Nintendo announces Indie World showcase for October 28

The presentation will run for approximately 15 minutes and focus on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo will host an Indie World Showcase on October 28 at 10 AM ET. The livestream will run for approximately 15 minutes.

The company announced the showcase via the Nintendo Today app and later confirmed it on social media. The presentation will focus on new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

This showcase is relatively short compared to the March 2026 Indie World Showcase, which ran for approximately 18 minutes. The March presentation revealed games such as Minishoot's Adventures, Denshattack, and Blue Prince coming to Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo's Japanese account promoted the show with a 25 minute runtime, suggesting Japan will get a different version featuring more games that may only release in that country.
