Valorant surpasses 100 million registered users in China
Riot Games announced the milestone on Weibo just days after Valorant Champions concluded in Shanghai.
Valorant has surpassed 100 million registered users on its Chinese servers. Riot Games announced the milestone on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
The achievement comes just days after Valorant Champions concluded in Shanghai. China is currently the only region where players can access Valorant on mobile.
Riot Games is running an event from late October through November 27 to celebrate. Players on Chinese servers can earn in-game content including a player card, a badge, a spray and a sticker designed around the 100 million user celebration.
Players can claim the rewards by logging in to the PC version of Valorant on Chinese servers, or by logging in on three separate days on the mobile version to unlock the full set. Chinese teams failed to win a single match at Valorant Champions, with all four representatives finishing at the bottom of their respective groups, but the local crowd turned out in force.
