Jack Link's MrBeast beef jerky range receives positive review from vending industry publication

Planet Vending technical director Ian Maguire reviewed Jack Link's MrBeast beef jerky range after receiving eight boxes of products. The delivery included three MrBeast flavors: Original, Sweet & Hot and Teriyaki, plus Jack Link's 100% Beef Biltong.

Maguire tested the products with his three sons, ages 14, 16 and 19. The family had previously purchased the Sweet & Hot flavor from their local Morrisons store. Maguire said he wanted to determine if the products could work in vending machines.

The MrBeast range features bright colors and bold graphics designed to stand out in vending machine displays. The 25g packs include Euro slots for hanging displays, though operators need to check compatibility with their equipment. The biltong packaging takes a more traditional approach with understated design and a South African flag.

Maguire noted the jerky texture was more tender and easier to eat than he expected. He said he does not normally eat jerky and prefers medium-rare steak. The review assessed whether the products could appeal to vending machine customers.
