Dubai collector brings 53 iPhones to Apple Store to pick up new foldable Duo

Mohammed Shakaa walked into an Apple Store in Dubai with 53 iPhones spanning nearly two decades after staff contacted him and asked him to bring his collection. He came to pick up two iPhone Duos, Apple's new foldable smartphone that launched on October 23.

The Dubai resident has collected almost every iPhone generation from the first model to the iPhone 18 Pro Max, keeping multiple color variants of some models displayed at home. He has spent nearly 20 years building the collection.

Shakaa considers collecting iPhones both a hobby and a personal challenge, driven by his fascination with Apple's technology evolution. While his collection includes some Motorola and Samsung devices, he calls himself a die-hard Apple fan.

The iPhone Duo folds to fit in a pocket and unfolds into a mini-tablet. Pricing starts at $1,999 depending on storage capacity.
