Attack on Titan 3 director has revealed that Fire Emblem Three Houses served as inspiration for the upcoming game. The title will be Koei Tecmo's third adaptation of Hajime Isayama's manga series.
The game will be the first in the series to cover the anime's Final Season. Producer Hideo Suzuki discussed the project's development in a recent preview.
The game will not be a straight retelling of the anime, though it follows the same overall storyline. Designers are working to include elements for more advanced and experienced players in the combat system.
IGN previewed the game and noted that moments between big battles stood out as highlights. The preview also mentioned the game aims to balance human drama with the series' signature Titan combat.
