Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles series reaches 6 million sold
SEGA announced the milestone alongside the launch of The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
SEGA announced that the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles series has surpassed 6 million units sold worldwide. The figure combines physical shipments and digital sales across all editions of the series.
The announcement coincides with the release of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. The new version features 60 FPS performance and higher resolution visuals compared to the original Nintendo Switch release.
The game includes 54 playable characters and supports cross-gen play between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 users. Players who own the original Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Switch 2 version at no additional cost through a free upgrade pass.
The game is available in three editions: a digital Standard Edition for $39.99, a digital Ultimate Edition for $64.99, and a physical edition for $59.99. The Ultimate and physical editions include the Infinity Castle Character Pass, which adds seven characters including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Akaza, Doma, and Kaigaku.
