McDonald's is bringing back Pokémon Happy Meals after an 8-year absence. The limited-edition meals launch November 10 in the United States, Australia, Canada, Fiji, France, New Zealand, and Spain.

Each meal comes in one of three boxes styled after Pokémon characters and includes one of 15 collectible toys featuring characters like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, Eevee, Umbreon, and Bulbasaur. The meals also include two trading cards.

The promotion coincides with Pokémon's 30th birthday. Customers can choose McNuggets or a hamburger with apple slices, fries, and a drink.

Fan site PokéBeach reports the collection will only be available through December 14 in America, though McDonald's and The Pokémon Company have not officially confirmed an end date. The offering expands to more countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa in December 2026, then to South America and additional European countries in early 2027.

Fans responded enthusiastically on social media. One person commented "Thank you so freaking much" on McDonald's Instagram announcement, while another said "I need it so bad." Pokémon toys last appeared in Happy Meals in 2018.
