Wednesday will not return for season 3 in 2026, with the next installment now expected to premiere sometime in 2027. Netflix has left the show off its 2026 release slate, making a return before the end of the year effectively impossible.

The series only completed filming on September 30, with the show now entering post production. Netflix has yet to announce an official release date for the new season.

The show's second season was Netflix's biggest English language TV season in history. The streaming service has not provided a heads up about when the series will return.
