The Mummy has officially found a new streaming home on Netflix. Stephen Sommers' 1999 action-adventure blockbuster returns to audiences as excitement builds around the franchise's upcoming return.
The film stars Brendan Fraser as Rick O'Connell, a dashing legionnaire who stumbles upon the hidden ruins of Hamunaptra while in the midst of a battle in 1923. Rachel Weisz stars alongside Fraser in the film.
The story takes place 3,000 years after Imhotep suffered his fate. Fraser's character discovers the ancient ruins with his companion Beni during their adventure.
The 125-minute film remains a modern classic that audiences still love more than 25 years after its original release.
