Mr. Beast releases Call of Duty video with $1 million prize for DMZ challenge

The YouTube star with over 500 million subscribers published the video on October 19 to mark Modern Warfare 4's release.

Mr. Beast released a Call of Duty video on October 19 titled "If You Escape, You Win $1,000,000." The video features the YouTube star and other content creators competing in a round of DMZ, with winners taking home the cash prize.

The video arrives one day before early access to Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode begins on October 20. Players who preorder the game can access the campaign immediately or play DMZ starting October 20, with the full game launching October 23.

Mr. Beast called it "one of the biggest COD videos of all time" and noted the project marks a full-circle moment for him. He started his YouTube career by posting Call of Duty videos.

The YouTube star now has more than 500 million subscribers on the platform. DMZ in Modern Warfare 4 features deeper progression and more ways to play compared to previous versions.
