Apple iPhone Air 2 leak hints at bigger battery and dual rear cameras
The upcoming iPhone Air 2 is expected to feature a larger battery and a dual rear camera system according to a new leak from Digital Chat Station.
Apple's next ultra-thin smartphone could address two major complaints about the first-generation iPhone Air. According to a leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming iPhone Air 2 is expected to feature a larger battery and a dual rear camera system.

The biggest camera upgrade could be the addition of an ultra-wide-angle lens alongside the existing 48 MP primary camera. The original iPhone Air features only a single rear camera, which limits its versatility compared with other iPhone models.
Digital Chat Station claims that the iPhone Air 2 will feature a larger battery. Previous reports suggested a capacity of around 3,500mAh, compared with the 3,149mAh battery in the first-generation model. If accurate, this would represent an increase of roughly 11 percent.
The upcoming smartphone is also tipped to feature a 6.55-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, Apple could use an A20-series chip built on a 2nm process. Apple has yet to confirm the device or its specifications. The iPhone Air 2 is expected to arrive in 2027.
