The Wolf Among Us remaster launches on PS5
Telltale Games' 2013 episodic adventure game arrives on PlayStation 5 with enhanced visuals and a new noir mode.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is now available on the PlayStation Store for $24.99. PlayStation Plus members can purchase the game for $19.99 with a 20% discount. The remaster is also available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games.
The original game was developed by Telltale Games and first launched on October 11, 2013. Its five chapters were released episodically between October 2013 and July 2014. A sequel titled The Wolf Among Us 2 is scheduled to launch in 2027.
The remastered version includes improved lighting, upgraded animations, refined environments, and modernized presentation. All five episodes of the original graphic adventure are included. Player decisions remain central to the experience, with choices affecting dialogue and the direction of the investigation.
The remaster introduces a noir mode that allows players to experience the entire story in black and white presentation inspired by classic detective movies. The game also includes bonus content like developer commentary, interviews, concept art, and restored content.
The story follows Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, a hidden community where characters from myths and fairy tales live among humans. Players take on the role of Bigby as he investigates crimes in the community.
