QUIET demo launches October 22nd after 271,132 players joined playtest
LINE Games announced the co-op horror comedy demo following a playtest that drew over 350,000 sign-ups from 148 countries.
LINE Games announced that QUIET will release its first demo on October 22nd on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The online co-op horror comedy supports one to four players.
The demo follows a playtest that drew more than 350,000 sign-ups. In total, 271,132 players from 148 countries participated. LINE Games said the team used player feedback to fix major bugs, add requested features, and improve stability.
In QUIET, players control alien ducks stranded on Earth who must search a nearby house for spaceship parts. The homeowner is a monster who can hear every sound players make. Movement, dropped objects, and real-world sounds picked up through a required microphone can expose players.
The demo adds a new four-player Arcade Stage called Duck Out and a spaceship-themed waiting room inspired by player feedback. Special Halloween content is also included.
QUIET will be featured in The MIX Fall Showcase this month and Screamfest from October 26th to November 2nd. The game's Steam page lists a Q1 2027 release date.
