Domino's partners with Minecraft Dungeons II for themed pizza boxes and in-game items
The collaboration launches October 26 with six collectible boxes and exclusive digital content for customers who purchase the Domino pizza.
Domino's Pizza is partnering with Minecraft Dungeons II for the game's first brand collaboration, offering exclusive in-game items and collectible boxes starting October 26.
Customers who purchase a Domino, the chain's new made-for-one Detroit-style pizza cut into two blocks, can unlock one of three randomly awarded in-game items including a Domino's skin, cape or cheesy cube pet. The pizza comes in one of six Minecraft-themed boxes featuring the Creeper, Pig, Zombie, main character Valorie, Prime Enchanter and Corrupted Creeper.
Domino's is giving away 20,000 digital copies of Minecraft Dungeons II through the promotion. Between October 26 and November 4, the company will distribute 2,000 game tokens daily that customers can use to download the base game.
Domino's Rewards members who order online will be able to track their order on a custom Minecraft Dungeons II-themed tracker. Each time members purchase a Domino online, they can unlock one of the three exclusive in-game items.
